The Grey Nurse Shark can be found in many subtropical and warmer oceans. Shying away from humans, it prefers the taste of crustaceans, fish, rays and squid. At a Critically Endangered level, this sharks biggest threat is in nets and becoming bycatch. It is also highly sought after on the Japanese market and has been fished extensively over the years for its fins.
