Created for a collaboration with the Italian poet Roberto Sanesi. The suite Journey Towards the North is a collection of poems whose theme is Sanesi's response to his personal experience of Wales. Richards made seven lithographs to accompany the text.
These were the very last works that Richards completed, permission to print being given shortly before his death.
