Signed verso diptych of hand carved lettering on book-matched brown oak boards (stained but not decayed by fungus.) Hand painted with acrylic paint in the lettering.

The words are from the poem 'Running to Paradise' by W.B Yeats (1865-1939). By omitting the first part of the sentence in the poem ('Yet never have I lit on a friend to...') the meaning of the remainder is completely reversed, with no change n the word order.
