It was designed and printed for an exhibition of his works at the Galerie Louis Carré, Paris, in 1953 the year of his death. The subject is a concert in a French municipal Kiosque as they were very common throughout the first part of the XXth Century.

The exhibition was extended and so this poster has has the new date pasted over the top of the original date - which was September 1953.
