Summer Sailing
This is the second use of my modified italic. The painting in of the letters uses white and pale blue rather in the manner of signwriter's 'shadows', so that the colour balance shifts as the work is viewed from different angles.
The words are a line from Wind, Waves and Sails by M. la Rue, published in poems by Children 1950-1961 edited by Michael Baldwin, published by Routledge & Kegan Paul in 1962. I have been unable to trace the poet and would be grateful of any information about her or him.
