Punch'ong

Lee decorates his pots using the traditional Korean method of Punch'ŏng. White slip is applied to a dark stoneware body. Whilst it is still wet Lee uses his hands to spread it over the pot, using tools to incise the slip in expressive motions.

Lee's work is in public collections worldwide, including the V&A and the British Museum in the UK.
